On June 9, 2016, you are invited to celebrate with SGS Galson World Accreditation Day 2016, a global initiative jointly established by the International Accreditation Forum (IAF) and the International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC), to raise awareness of the importance of accreditation.

Throughout the world, laboratory accreditation is a means to determine technical competence and assure clients of obtaining services that meet a specific standard. This year’s World Accreditation Day theme, Accreditation: A Global Tool to Support Public Policy, focuses on how accreditation can be a global tool to support public policy for all areas in the public sector – national and local governments, and regulators. You can read some case studies related to this year’s theme here.

SGS Galson’s accreditation is provided by the American Industrial Hygiene Association Laboratory Accreditation Programs, LLC (AIHA-LAP, LLC) to the ISO/IEC 17025:2005 International Standard for the General requirements for the Competence of Testing and Calibration Laboratories.

Our accreditation (SGS Galson Lab ID: 100324) not only assures you of quality, consistency and reliability, but it also gives SGS Galson global recognition under the International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation Mutual Recognition Arrangement (ILAC-MRA).  Accreditation assures that you receive high quality services from SGS Galson worldwide, under the ILAC umbrella.

With accreditation you are assured that our staff has proper qualifications, testing protocols are valid, measurements are traceable to international standards, strict reporting procedures are followed, a sound quality management system is in place, and more. Accreditation is just not a requirement to SGS Galson; it’s a vital way to ensure the best solutions for you and all our clients.

You are the reason we invest in and celebrate accreditation. Celebrate the day with us!
