SGS Galson Laboratories, a world leader in industrial hygiene analysis and monitoring solutions and co-sponsor of the 2015 American Industrial Hygiene Conference & Exposition (AIHce), will feature its Personal Exposure Vest™ (PEV), and other groundbreaking programs at Booth # 809, May 30-June 4 in Salt Lake City, UT.  Galson will also deliver a number of presentations during the conference.

Galson joined SGS, the world’s leading inspection, verification, testing and certification company, in 2014, and for the first time, at this year’s AIHce, will be joined by SGS associates from all over the world.

As an AIHce 2015 special, SGS Galson will offer free use of up to three of its Personal Exposure Vests the entire month of June. The PEV guarantees improved sampling safety and accuracy, can be configured with a company’s own equipment or paired with SGS Galson’s FreePumpLoan™program. The vest holds up to six pumps or real-time instruments for noise, dust, gases, fumes and more.

In addition to the PEV,SGS Galson will be displaying the many services and programs that have helped their clients for so many years. SGS Galson Laboratories’ professionals will make a number of technical presentations at AIHce. Section Supervisor HPLC/IC, Michael Jordon, will present, “An alternate method for the analysis of 1,3,5-Triglycidyl Isocyanurate (TGIC)” and Section Supervisor Gravimetrics Connor Irwin will present, “Vacuum Desiccation Applications for the Increase of Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) Filter Stability.”

Additionally, two SGS Galson business development managers will be part of an AIHA Laboratory Assurance Programs Round Table called, “AHIA Quality Programs Value Proposition for both Participants and Customers”, Tuesday June 2, 1 – 5 pm.

Ed Stuber, CIH, will discuss “Continuous Improvement: Fixing Problems Through Root Cause Analysis, Preventative and Corrective Actions, and William Walsh, CIH, will present “Quality System ‐ What is it?  Why is it important?”
