SGS Forensic Laboratories will open a new, state-of-the-art facility in Carson, CA, on March 1, to provide you with the latest in laboratory analysis for the built environment.
The expanded laboratory offers clients like you the latest instrumentation for lead, asbestos, mold, and wildfire-ash/char analysis with increased capacity over the previous laboratory location, allowing SGS Forensic Laboratories to better meet your turnaround time requirements.

Additionally, we will have a full complement of client service and scientific staff to help you get just what you need, and you’ll be able to drop off your samples and we’ll ship them to any SGS laboratory in the U.S.
Strategically located 30 minutes south of Los Angeles and adjacent to the ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach in southern California, we are three minutes off the 405 freeway at the Avalon exit, and eight minutes from the 710 Freeway at Del Amo.

The 15,000 square foot facility will be shared with SGS Food Microbiology Testing Laboratory, offering food producers, manufacturers and suppliers a broad spectrum of food and agricultural testing services across every food category. This is in keeping with the “One SGS” business model to promote strategic and partnership-based relationships on the West Coast.
