In order to improve workers’ protection from the dangers of respirable silica dust, OSHA’s latest silica rule reduces the permissible exposure limit for crystalline silica to 50 micrograms per cubic meter of air, averaged over an eight-hour shift.

There are three forms of Crystalline Silica you’ll want to test for – Quartz (the most common), Cristobalite and Tridymite.

This kit provides the simplest means of taking your Silica sample(s). The Test Report will include all 3 forms of Silica as well as Respirable Dust. Includes everything you need all the way down to tape to close your package up to send back to us. Freight not included.
