Phosphorus Particulate
Sampling & Analysis

Phosphorus, Particulate comes in the one of several solid waxy solids – yellowish-white, red, and purpleish-black.  It is used in the manufacture of fertilizers, pesticides, and cleaning products.  It is highly toxic.

The substance enters the body through ingestion, inhalation, or skin/eye contact.  Again, it is highly toxic and can cause severe burns to the eyes, skin, and lungs; it will smoke upon contact with human skin or eyes.  Poisoning can occur after a very short exposure.
