Dursban comes in the form of a colorless-to-white crystalline solid with a mild, mercaptan-like odor. It is used as an insecticide, as well as for pets against ticks and fleas.
The substance enters the body through inhalation, ingestion, skin absorption, or skin/eye contact. It can cause irritation of the eyes and skin, as well as wheezing, laryngeal spasms, salivation, blue lips and skin, blurred vision, nausea, vomiting, abdominal cramps, and diarrhea.
