Diacetone Alcohol comes in the form of a colorless liquid with a faint minty odor.  It is used as a solvent, in wood stains and preservatives, in artificial leather, in golf leaf, and in hydraulic brake fluid. 

The substance enters the body through inhalation, ingestion, or skin/eye contact.  It can cause irritation of the eyes, skin, throat, and respiratory tract; it can also cause nausea and vomiting.  It can cause corneal damage.
