As is the case in many sectors, we are facing unprecedented inflation in the cost of labor, materials, energy and logistics. As a result, we have absorbed significant cost increases which have impacted our laboratory business across North America. Although we have made every attempt to absorb these costs, we are no longer in a position where we can do so without impacting our price structure.
Effective August 18, 2022, SGS Galson will be implementing the following:
- an approximate 2% analytical price increase
- $4 per sample increase on Silica analysis in air (XRD)
- $10 per sample increase on bulk Silica samples
Please know that this is not a decision we take lightly. This increase will allow us to continue to provide you with the quality data and service you’ve come to expect from SGS.
Fortunately, investments in efficient equipment and improved technology will enable us to keep rate increases at a minimum, today and in the future. We are committed to continuously improving our services and capabilities and operating our business safer, greener and smarter.
