Collections Specialist

Responsibilities and Duties of Position:
  • Follows up with clients on past-due payments.
  • Follows up with clients on pumps not returned on time from the Company’s FreePumpLoan™ program. 
  • Follows up with clients on past-due rental equipment.
  • Adds collection comments and notes into LIMS based upon client calls.
  • Informs management of problem accounts or accounts that require additional management involvement.
  • Attends data integrity training and signs off acknowledging understanding.
  • Ensures cleanliness of work area.
  • Responsible for the timely response to all e-mail, voicemail, verbal and written requests.
  • Operates within the guiding principles of the company.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Understands and always adheres to  all aspects of the safety program.

Minimum Qualifications:
High School diploma
One year of general business experience.
Attributes: well-organized, good time-management skills, willingness to follow-up, computer capable, good oral and written communication skills.
 
Physical Requirements: Ability to climb stairs, occasionally reach with hands and arms, bend, twist, and lift, up to 20 pounds, and regularly sit while using a computer, phone and other technologies.  Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally

Sample Login Technician

Full time, non-exempt, login technician (aka sample custody technician) job opportunity is available for an energetic, organized, detail-oriented individual that will work on overseeing the receipt and tracking of samples that have been received for analysis. Review of chain of custody and quality control of samples, as well as other projects as assigned.

Work Involves:

  • Processing the receipt and tracking of air quality related industrial hygiene testing samples which our clients have submitted to our labs for analysis
  • Review chain of custody and quality control documents of the testing samples
  • Labeling and storing the testing samples using ICOC processes
  • Communicating via in-person, electronically/computer and telephone with clients (and co-workers) to coordinate the login receipt, process and status of the testing samples
  • Performs other related tasks and projects as assigned

Qualifications:
Associate’s degree and one year of general business (and data entry) experience or High School diploma and three years of general business (and data entry) experience. Science background preferred. Team player, well organized, detail-oriented, good oral and written communications skills.

Working Conditions (Physical & Mental Requirements):

  • Ability to complete routine forms or conduct routine oral communications
  • Ability to understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions
  • Must be able to see and speak with customers and observe equipment operation
  • Ability to safely lift and carry up to 20 pounds
  • Reach, bend, kneel and have high level of manual dexterity
  • Sit for extended periods of time while using hands to use a computer, telephone and other related technologies
  • Fast paced environment with occasional interruptions
  • May be required to work overtime and extended hours to support business operational needs

Purchasing Coordinator/Accounts Payable

Responsibilities and Duties of Position:
  • Place all orders for supplies as needed.
  • Maintain the Purchase Order Log.
  • Match all packing lists to Purchase Orders.
  • Follow up on backorders, returns or damages as needed.
  • Work with vendors to maximize discounts.
  • Work with other “sister” companies to maximize buying power.
  • Maintain Approved Vendor List.
  • Organize all Accounts Payable invoices by Company.
  • Match Invoices to Purchase Orders and code with appropriate GL’s.
  • Work with Accounting Assistant for input of Invoices to Accounts Payable System.
  • Disbursements for all Companies weekly.
  • Data Entry of Manual Payments from ACH transactions.
  • Attend data integrity training and Lab training as required.
  • Ensure cleanliness of work area.
  • Responsible for the timely response to all email, voicemail, verbal and written requests.
  • Operate within the guiding principles of the company.
  • Perform other duties and analyses as requested.
  • Understands and always adheres to all aspects of the safety program.
Minimum Qualifications:
 
Associates Degree in Accounting or a related field.
 
Working knowledge and the ability to learn accounting systems and Microsoft office applications
 
Attributes: ability to multi-task, good organization skills, attention to detail, ability to operate in a production environment, ability to meet deadlines.
