Client Services Representative

Responsibilities and Duties of Position:

  • Consults with clients regarding routine and appropriate analytical methods, sampling media and sampling techniques.
  • Provides total client responsiveness.
  • Reviews work orders of samples submitted for completeness.
  • Provide clients with written quotations.
  • Responsible for keeping all accounts projected managed up-to-date and accurate. (Updating comments, removing people no longer with organization, making sure all documents have been completed and returned by client.)
  • Responsible for listening to client in order to have a full understanding of any conversation that takes place and then being able to document any conversations with client.
  • Responsible for being 100% thorough when coming in contact with client whether it be verbally, in writing or through their sample submittals.
  • Responsible for continually looking for ways to improve processes.
  • Communicates any issues pertaining to clients, method development, sample submittals, reports, etc.
  • Enters calls and sample preps into lab software “csmenu” daily.
  • Attends data integrity training and signs off acknowledging understanding.
  • Ensures cleanliness of work area.
  • Responsible for the timely response to all e-mail, voicemail, verbal and written requests.
  • Operates within the guiding principles of the company.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Understands and always adheres to  all aspects of the safety program

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Environmental Science, or related science and two years of industry experience or an Associates degree in Chemistry, Environmental Science, or related science and four years of industry experience.

Metals Laboratory Analyst

Responsibilities and Duties of Position:

  • Review, schedule and prioritize workload.
  • Sign out samples, prepare samples and calibration standards.
  • Maintain specific consistent records of observations and work completed.
  • Follow and adhere to QA/QC procedures.
  • Follow SOPs and perform work consistently and thoroughly and document any procedural changes or modifications.
  • Recognize variances from normal procedures address them and bring any discrepancies to supervisor.
  • Attends data integrity training and signs off acknowledging understanding.
  • Ensures cleanliness of work area.
  • Responsible for the timely response to all e-mail, voicemail, verbal and written requests.
  • Prepares samples following Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Submits raw data audits and other requests on a timely basis.
  • Operates within the guiding principles of the company.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Understands and always adheres to all aspects of the safety program.

Minimum Qualifications:

  •  Associates degree in Chemistry, Environmental Science or related science or High School Diploma with two years of industry experience.
  • Attributes: Positive attitude, being organized, the ability to multi-task, team player.

Physical Requirements:  Ability to sit, stand and/or walk for up to 4 hours at a time.  Requires use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulation to effectively handle delicate samples, equipment and/or small tools.  Ability to perform repetitive movements.  Requires ability to lift, carry, push or pull up to 10 pounds regularly and up to 30 pounds occasionally.  Requires bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching in all directions.  Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.

Rental Technician(Sensor Technology)

Responsibilities include:

  • Calibrate and configure equipment to client specifications;
  • Repair equipment, perform quality control;
  • Manage equipment pools;
  • Satisfies all daily prep requests including QC of requests;
  • Design, manage and support data dashboard deliverables and associated project workflows for analysing continuous monitoring data;
  • Provides total client responsiveness;
  • Responsible for liaising with clients in order to have a full understanding of project requirements, and documenting requirements accordingly;
  • Carry out project work including development and creation of analytical data outputs and reports to complement and assist with wider objectives on client EHS projects;
  • Responsible for continually looking for ways to improve processes;
  • Answers technical questions posed by clients and other employees.
  • Attends data integrity training and signs off acknowledging understanding and responsibility therein;
  • Ensures cleanliness of work area, instruments and supplies;
  • Responsible for the timely response to all e-mail, voicemail, verbal and written requests;
  • Performs training for all devices and data analysis deliverables to clients and technicians (may involve some travel);
  • Follows all guidelines for acceptable quality control, investigates quality control failures and rectifies problems and brings any discrepancies to their supervisor’s attention;
  • Initiates corrective action requirements as required;
  • Maintains instruments and follows preventive maintenance schedules;
  • Review, schedule and prioritize workload, perform preventive maintenance and monitor instrument capability, ensure that all QC procedures are followed and that they meet necessary criteria;
  • Operates within the guiding principles of the company;

Minimum Qualifications:

 Bachelor’s degree in Science or Associates degree and one year of general business experience or High School diploma and three years of general business experience.

Sample Login Technician

Summary

Full time, non-exempt, login technician (aka sample custody technician) job opportunity is available for an energetic, organized, detail-oriented individual that will work on overseeing the receipt and tracking of samples that have been received for analysis. Review of chain of custody and quality control of samples, as well as other projects as assigned.

Responsibilities

  • Processing the receipt and tracking of air quality related industrial hygiene testing samples which our clients have submitted to our labs for analysis
  • Review chain of custody and quality control documents of the testing samples
  • Labeling and storing the testing samples using ICOC processes
  • Communicating via in-person, electronically/computer and telephone with clients (and co-workers) to coordinate the login receipt, process and status of the testing samples
  • Performs other related tasks and projects as assigned

Qualifications:
Associate’s degree and one year of general business (and data entry) experience or High School diploma and three years of general business (and data entry) experience. Science background preferred. Team player, well organized, detail-oriented, good oral and written communications skills.

Working Conditions (Physical & Mental Requirements):

  • Ability to complete routine forms or conduct routine oral communications
  • Ability to understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions
  • Must be able to see and speak with customers and observe equipment operation
