Vanadium
Sampling & Analysis

Vanadium comes in the form of a medium-hard ductile, steel-blue metal.  It is primarily used as a steel alloy to produce corrosion-resistant tools and cladding, as well as in ceramics and specialty electrochemical battery.

The substance enters the body through inhalation, ingestion, or skin/eye contact.  It causes skin and eye irritation and redness, and can cause nausea, throat pain, and abdominal pain.
