Methyl n-Amyl Ketone comes in the form of a colorless-to-white liquid with a banana-like, fruity odor.  It is used as a food additive.

The substance enters the body through inhalation, ingestion, or skin/eye contact.   It can cause irritation of the skin, eyes, and mucous membrane; it can also cause dermatitis, headache, narcosis, and coma.
