Methyl Cellosolve comes in the form of a colorless liquid with a mild ether-like odor.  It is used as a solvent.

The substance enters the body through inhalation, ingestion, skin absorption, or skin/eye contact.  It can cause irritation of the eyes, nose, skin, and throat; it can also cause headache, weakness, drowsiness, ataxia, tremor, and anemic pallor.
