Ethyl Ether comes in the form of a colorless liquid with a pungent, sweetish odor.  It is used as an inhalation anesthetic, as well as a solvent for waxes and oils.

The substance enters the body through inhalation, ingestion, or skin/eye contact.  It can cause irritation of the eyes, skin, and upper respiratory system; it can also cause headache, nausea, vomiting, dizziness, and narcosis
