Diethylene Glycol Monoethyl Ether comes in the form of a colorless, slightly viscous liquid with a mild pleasant odor.  It is used in soaps, dyes, and as an intermediate in the manufacture of other chemicals.

The substance enters the body through inhalation, ingestion, or skin/eye contact.  It can cause serious skin and eye irritation, as well as throat and abdominal pain/discomfort.
