Cellosolve Acetate (2Ethoxyethyl Acetate) comes in the form of a colorless liquid with a mild odor.  It is used as a solvent for gums and resins, and as an intermediary in combination with other chemicals.

The substance enters the body through inhalation, ingestion, skin absorption, or skin/eye contact. It causes irritation of the eyes, nose and skin; it can also cause vomiting and kidney damage.
