Butyl Glycidyl Ether comes in the form of a colorless liquid with an irritating odor.  It is used in adhesives, sealants, and as a paint or coating additive.

The substance enters the body through inhalation, ingestion, or skin/eye contact.  It can cause irritation of the eyes, skin, and the nose; it can also cause skin sensitization, narcosis, hematopoietic effects, and central nervous system depression.
