Web Developer

Description:

FT position available for web programmer in the leading Industrial Hygiene/Air testing laboratory in the US. Experience with PHP to create an attractive user-interface while presenting data from a database mandatory. Knowledge of Oracle Database, PL/SQL, and Linux preferred. Knowledge of LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System), chemistry, or laboratory experience a plus. We are looking for an individual who is responsible, innovative, independent, has leadership qualities, has strong planning and time management skills, and enjoys working in a continuous improvement team environment.

Qualifications:

BS in computer science required.

Industrial Hygiene Client Service Representative

Description:

We are looking for an energetic, client focused individual to join the client services team by providing environmental air quality and industrial hygiene based solutions to clients.

Must be detail-oriented, able to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment. The individual will be part of a top-notch client service call center working one-on-one via phone and online chat. Bi-lingual abilities are a plus for this position.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Consults with clients regarding routine and appropriate analytical methods, sampling media and sampling techniques.
  • Reviews work orders of samples submitted for completeness.
  • Provide clients with written quotations.
  • Responsible for keeping all accounts projected managed up-to-date and accurate. (Updating comments, removing people no longer with organization, making sure all documents have been completed and returned by client.)
  • Responsible for listening to client in order to have a full understanding of any conversation that takes place and then being able to document any conversations with client.
  • Responsible for being 100% thorough when coming in contact with client whether it be verbally, in writing or through their sample submittals.
  • Responsible for continually looking for ways to improve processes.
  • Communicates any issues pertaining to clients, method development, sample submittals, reports, etc.
  • Enters calls and sample preps into lab software “csmenu” daily.
  • Responsible for the timely response to all e-mail, voicemail, verbal and written requests.
  • Operates within the guiding principles of the company.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • BS degree required in Chemistry, Biology or Environmental Science.
  • Experience in the industrial hygiene industry is essential.
  • Demonstrated telephone, communication and computer skills are a must.
  • Able to work Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week.
  • Able to work overtime as required.

Physical Requirements: Ability to regularly climb stairs, occasionally reach with hands and arms, and regularly sit while using a computer, phone and other technologies. Strong oral, listening and written communications skills are required.
